The Republicans may not have a nominee yet, but that’s not stopping President Barack Obama from taking swings at all of them as he begins a little campaigning of his own.

Obama, at a fundraiser in California, took his biggest hit at Texas Governor Rick Perry, calling him “a governor whose state is on fire, denying climate change.”

But it’s not just the candidates he’s criticizing, but their audience, too, bringing up the volatility of the people sitting in the live audiences, egging candidates on. “You’ve got audiences cheering at the prospect of somebody dying because they don’t have health care and booing a service member in Iraq because they’re gay…That’s not reflective of who we are.”

Now, keep in mind we’ve never had this argument before. And what makes it worse is that some of the Republicans who are opposing this disaster relief, it’s their constituents who have been hit harder than anyone by these natural disasters.”
