This is a great movie, I recorded it on video tape years ago. Its somewhere in my closet now with all my other video tapes. I should download this movie. I highly recommend this movie, rent it on dvd or whatever.

Yeah me too. Kurt Russell actually sang all the soundtracks to the movie too. He did not lip sync to Elvis he sang it himself. I thought he did a great job. A lot of music in that movie, and Kurt Russell sang all of it. Hes a remarkable actor. I always like him. I remember as a little boy watching Kurt Russell in Disney movies. I was a fan, still am actually.

yes I like kurt, and his lovely spouse, Goldie, she is one of my favorite actress.

Kurt does a great impersonation of Elvis in the movie~and his singing was excellent..

i saw the movie, but its been so long ago,, i dont remember it real well,,that was the Ryman theater where the original grand ole opry was, i wonder when the movie was shot was it still in use or had it moved to the opryland location that it is now, ofcourse as i have said, they cut a large round part of the theater floor where ppl preformed and put it into the new oprys floor. when i went it was at the new location and that was some years ago, but i did tour the ryman theater, where it originally was,, anyway just rambling
