doesn't matter if ur from another country, still counts as a suggestion~
ssc ask me this in a post, i outlined it here on another topic
first of all
deficit
children. 140 million orphans in the world, we need easier ways to solve this, and easier adoption
peace
more taxes for the rich
solving the hunger in the world starting with America
oil dependency, especially from the mid east..
tend to our countries business first, before tackling anothers

clean up our gov't
bring industry back to our country
work as a united gov't
one thing i can say for McCain reach across aisle.
consider our leaders 200+ years ago
and why the wrote the constitution and laws

many more, but will have to think~~

It would never be my ambition to be the leader of whatever country, for there are two options:
you don t do it right
or
you do it wrong.
However, my priority would be the deficit

In the perfect world that is a great theory, but in times when it takes billions to support homeland security, welfare programs , assistance for disasters, funding our governments payroll, subsidizing the care of the elderly, supporting education , highway construction, the list goes on and on, assuring we have adequate military. Gypsy as the population increases so does debt.

If you can t pay for all of that now, how can you it in the future by lending it now?
The debt will only increase, just because of the intrest alone.

Check the charts Gypsy, Clinton was also in debt , as were every president to hold office before him. It is not the President who makes the debt Congress is where spending is approved , your legislatures introduce spending bills which go for a vote, you can not blame a president for incuring debt , blame the ones who push the passage of approval of spending.

ok memory only, clinton ran a debt as has all presidents, i do recall they did not have a deficit i believe a year or two,, but not sure, , i m not sure i understand ur post, but the War as u call the actions in iraq is hardly the deficit,,,why u keep harping on some troops in iraq trying to help them be self sufficient looses me.. and for that wish list, it would be great, not sure we could afford all that, plus congress would have to start that, and when ever congress moves, tons of pork moves with them,,

social security has been on the same track no matter who the president was, its just we are years later, and the baby boomers are starting to retire, but social security is solvent to the year 2041 if nothing is done, something will be done or have to be, either raise the amount cut from ur check, or raise the age again, which has been discussed since ppl will be living longer in 30 years, so social security was not ok during clinton ,anymore that it is now,, it just was years back, its ok now, just closer to a date something will have to change,

Gypsy you are so obsessed with the failures you claim of Bush, you are not seeing the whole picture. All you can say is war..war..war and eight years...You cannot honestly believe war is the only leach on the US economy.

i will admit i liked some things clinton did, mainly changing the tax brackets which along with the economy in an up cycle, helped cut out deficit spending for a while but was going back south when he left so bush did not inherit a great thing, , i think he was in the right place at the right time, but i was glad of the way he handeled the taxes, which passes by i think one vote... and did not seem to hurt the economy by raisint tax on the upper incomes, but i do not judge him on his lewinsky thing, but with the country in the balance, i do blame him for not putting the country first and putting the country at risk by his actions with her, we knew he had a problem before he was elected, he was a very smart president, but raging hormones, lol, what im saying he lost so much time near the end of his term, he was frozen and lost so much time he could maybe have helped the nation more..but i will never forgive clinton for being a driving force for nafta.along with the republican congress, it was a big factor in me loosing a 20 year old job,,

You insist on blaming Bush, is there not a congress , a senate and a house of representatives that also make the decisions, I do not believe one man can have all the blame placed on him, you are making him a scape goat, because you are gun-ho for the democrats. Well I am gun-ho for the republican candidate, I believe in maturity, experiance and military service.

I agree, its absurd to blame all the country's problems on one person, especially when they don't have enough power to do it all themselves. Many things and people attribute to the problems, one person alone can't be at fault.

I voted for Bush, so thats my scape goat,, lol!

Do you really think George Bush is a genuinely bad guy, and do you think he was out to do this country harm, or do you think he is probably a good guy and made mistakes? I ask Because you say you do not like the man. The Man or the politics?

You have stated many times Bush this Bush that , eight years of problems. You sing Clintons praises yet the man betrayed his wife and country while in office. I didn't reaalize our tax dollars used to pay a Presidents salary included financing his mistress and all the wasted time and money it cost to defend him. Certainly a blackeye in the morals department for our youth. Clinton left no legacy of good governing only the memory of his Oval Room fiasco with Monica.

I liked Clinton he had accompolished alot , and had he kept his pants on his legacy would have been alot different, but he was a troubled man when it came to extramarital affairs.
